Attorney Avram Rosen

Avram has been practicing family law exclusively since 1999. He is a member of the Matrimonial Inns of Court, the Allegheny County Bar Association Family Section, the Washington County Bar Association Family Section and the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Division. Avram maintains offices in Allegheny and Washington Counties, serving clients throughout several areas of Pittsburgh. Avram's wealth of experience and expertise are at your disposal and we answer communications promptly.

He has seen it all and will tell it to you straight. Avram is able to settle most cases, but litigates aggressively when necessary. Our clients appreciate his ability to clearly explain legal concepts and strategies in working toward positive results.

Avram is a 1985 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison (philosophy major) and a 1988 graduate of the University of Michigan School of Law (earning a JD). At Michigan, he was lauded by legendary Supreme Court justice William J. Brennan, Jr. He first practiced at Reed Smith, but large firm culture is not for him. He has concentrated his practice on family law for more than 20 years. Since 1999, Avram has counseled and zealously represented many clients through divorce, support, alimony, custody, relocation, and PFA proceedings, while pursuing the highest standards.

Avram was raised in Chicago, but moved to Pittsburgh in 1988. This means that he has been able to celebrate both of the most recent Stanley Cups. Avram's wife, Ellen, is a talented IT asset for the firm. Family law is the most personal and sensitive area of law. It is important that you feel personally and professionally compatible with your divorce, custody or support attorney. A good attorney should make you feel informed, purposeful and comfortable. So, we encourage potential clients to take their time and to meet and talk with us before making any decisions.

We will fight for your family, contact our firm and speak with an attorney today.
